Description

These Turkey Cranberry Sliders are the perfect combination of savory, sweet, and tangy flavors! Juicy turkey, melty cheese, and a zesty cranberry sauce are tucked inside soft, buttery slider buns—making them an irresistible treat for parties, holiday leftovers, or an easy weeknight meal.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Sliders:

  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls work great)
  • 2 cups cooked turkey (sliced or shredded)
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese (or Provolone)
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard

For the Buttery Topping:

  • 4 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or parsley

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Sliders

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Assemble the Sliders

  1. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on the bottom buns.
  2. Layer the turkey evenly over the buns.
  3. Spoon the cranberry sauce over the turkey.
  4. Add slices of Swiss cheese on top.
  5. Place the top buns back on.

Step 3: Make the Buttery Topping

  1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, poppy seeds, and thyme.
  2. Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the sliders.

Step 4: Bake & Serve

  1. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for another 5–7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use Soft Buns – Hawaiian rolls or brioche buns work best for a tender, slightly sweet bite.
  • Make Ahead – Assemble the sliders in advance, cover, and refrigerate until ready to bake.
  • Crispy Tops – Remove the foil for the last few minutes to get a golden, buttery crust.
