Instructions
1. Season & Sear the Steaks
- Pat the steaks dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Add the steaks and sear for 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare).
- Reduce heat to medium, add butter, thyme, or rosemary, and baste the steak for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove steaks from the skillet, tent with foil, and let rest while you make the sauce.
2. Cook the Shrimp
- In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp butter and cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
3. Make the Lobster Sauce
- In a small saucepan, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the broth and heavy cream, whisking to combine.
- Stir in the parmesan, paprika, and lemon juice. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the lobster meat and cooked shrimp, stirring to coat. Let it warm through for 1 minute.
4. Plate & Serve
- Place the steak on a plate and spoon the shrimp & lobster sauce generously over the top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!
