Ingredients

  • Eggs (2 large) – The base of a fluffy omelette.
  • Milk (1 tbsp) – Adds creaminess and softness.
  • Fresh Spinach (½ cup, chopped) – Loaded with nutrients and flavor.
  • Shredded Cheese (¼ cup) – Cheddar, mozzarella, or feta work well.
  • Salt & Pepper (to taste) – Enhances the flavor.
  • Olive Oil or Butter (1 tsp) – For cooking the omelette.
  • Garlic Powder (¼ tsp, optional) – Adds extra depth of flavor.

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Egg Mixture

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Set aside.

Step 2: Sauté the Spinach
2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or butter.
3. Add chopped spinach and cook for 1–2 minutes until wilted. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Cook the Omelette
4. In the same skillet, pour in the egg mixture and let it cook undisturbed for 30 seconds.
5. Using a spatula, gently push the edges toward the center, allowing uncooked egg to flow to the sides.
6. Once the eggs are mostly set, sprinkle the sautéed spinach and shredded cheese evenly over one half.

Step 4: Fold & Serve
7. Carefully fold the omelette in half and let it cook for another 30 seconds to melt the cheese.
8. Slide it onto a plate and serve warm!

Notes

  • Don’t Overcook – Eggs continue cooking off the heat, so remove them slightly before fully set.
  • Use a Non-Stick Pan – Prevents sticking and makes flipping easier.
  • Low & Slow is Key – Cooking over medium-low heat ensures a tender omelette.
  • Experiment with Cheese – Try goat cheese, Swiss, or pepper jack for a unique twist.
