For the Salmon:

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 1 lb, skin removed)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp cumin

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Juice of 1 lime

For the Slaw:

  • 1 cup cabbage (shredded)

  • ½ cup carrots (shredded)

  • ¼ cup cilantro (chopped)

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Creamy Sauce:

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or sour cream

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)

  • 1 tsp lime juice

  • Salt & pepper to taste

For Serving:

  • 6 small tortillas (corn or flour)

  • 1 avocado (sliced)

  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes (chopped)

  • Extra lime wedges


Instructions

Step 1: Season and Cook the Salmon

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium heat.

  2. Pat the salmon dry and rub with olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Bake for 12–15 minutes or pan-sear for 4 minutes per side until cooked through.

  4. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the salmon and flake into bite-sized pieces.

Step 2: Prepare the Slaw

  1. In a bowl, mix shredded cabbage, carrots, and cilantro.

  2. Drizzle with lime juice and olive oil, then season with salt and pepper. Toss well.

Step 3: Make the Creamy Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, honey, hot sauce, lime juice, salt, and pepper.

Step 4: Warm the Tortillas

  1. Heat tortillas in a dry skillet for 30 seconds per side or warm in the oven wrapped in foil.

Step 5: Assemble the Tacos

  1. Spread a spoonful of the creamy sauce on each tortilla.

  2. Add flaked salmon, slaw, avocado slices, and cherry tomatoes.

  3. Drizzle with extra lime juice and garnish with more cilantro if desired.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy!

  • Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.

For Extra Crispy Salmon: Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end of baking.
