For the Alfredo Sauce:
- Butter (4 tbsp, unsalted) – The base of a rich, creamy sauce.
- Garlic (3 cloves, minced) – Brings out the best flavor in the sauce.
- Heavy Cream (1 ½ cups) – Creates a luscious texture.
- Parmesan Cheese (1 cup, grated) – Gives the sauce its signature cheesy taste.

- Italian Seasoning (1 tsp) – A blend of herbs for added depth.
- Chicken or Seafood Broth (¼ cup) – Lightens the sauce and enhances the flavor.
For the Pasta:
- Fettuccine (12 oz, cooked according to package instructions) – The perfect pasta for soaking up Alfredo sauce.
- Fresh Parsley (¼ cup, chopped, for garnish) – Adds freshness.
- Red Pepper Flakes (optional, for heat) – A spicy kick if you like it!
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water in case you need to thin the sauce later.
Step 2: Sear the Salmon
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the salmon fillets with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Sear the salmon for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Cook the Shrimp
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil.
- Season the shrimp with a little salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Cook the shrimp for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Remove from the skillet and set aside with the salmon.
Step 4: Make the Alfredo Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and broth.
- Whisk continuously until the sauce is smooth and thick.
Step 5: Assemble the Dish
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss until fully coated.
- If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
- Place the cooked salmon and shrimp on top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
Step 6: Serve & Enjoy!
Serve the creamy, seafood-packed Alfredo while hot and enjoy every bite!
Notes
- Use Freshly Grated Parmesan: It melts smoother than pre-shredded cheese.
- Cook the Pasta Al Dente: Slightly firm pasta absorbs the sauce better.
- Don’t Overcook the Shrimp: They cook fast—remove them as soon as they turn pink!
- Adjust Sauce Consistency: Add a little pasta water if it gets too thick.
