Ingredients

For the Salmon & Shrimp:

  • Salmon Fillet (2 pieces, skin removed, about 6 oz each) – Tender, flaky, and packed with omega-3s.
  • Shrimp (½ lb, peeled & deveined) – Adds a juicy seafood bite.
  • Olive Oil (2 tbsp) – For searing the seafood.
  • Garlic Powder (1 tsp) – Adds subtle, savory depth.
  • Paprika (½ tsp) – For a touch of smokiness.
  • Salt & Black Pepper (to taste) – Enhances all the flavors.

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • Butter (4 tbsp, unsalted) – The base of a rich, creamy sauce.
  • Garlic (3 cloves, minced) – Brings out the best flavor in the sauce.
  • Heavy Cream (1 ½ cups) – Creates a luscious texture.
  • Parmesan Cheese (1 cup, grated) – Gives the sauce its signature cheesy taste.
  • Cream Cheese (2 oz, softened) – Adds an extra creamy texture.
  • Salt & Black Pepper (to taste) – Seasoning for a well-balanced sauce.
  • Italian Seasoning (1 tsp) – A blend of herbs for added depth.
  • Chicken or Seafood Broth (¼ cup) – Lightens the sauce and enhances the flavor.

For the Pasta:

  • Fettuccine (12 oz, cooked according to package instructions) – The perfect pasta for soaking up Alfredo sauce.
  • Fresh Parsley (¼ cup, chopped, for garnish) – Adds freshness.
  • Red Pepper Flakes (optional, for heat) – A spicy kick if you like it!

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water in case you need to thin the sauce later.

Step 2: Sear the Salmon

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Sear the salmon for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Cook the Shrimp

  1. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil.
  2. Season the shrimp with a little salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Cook the shrimp for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  4. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the salmon.

Step 4: Make the Alfredo Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and broth.
  5. Whisk continuously until the sauce is smooth and thick.

Step 5: Assemble the Dish

  1. Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss until fully coated.
  2. If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
  3. Place the cooked salmon and shrimp on top.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.

Step 6: Serve & Enjoy!

Serve the creamy, seafood-packed Alfredo while hot and enjoy every bite!

Notes

  • Use Freshly Grated Parmesan: It melts smoother than pre-shredded cheese.
  • Cook the Pasta Al Dente: Slightly firm pasta absorbs the sauce better.
  • Don’t Overcook the Shrimp: They cook fast—remove them as soon as they turn pink!
  • Adjust Sauce Consistency: Add a little pasta water if it gets too thick.
