Ingredients

For the Crust:
• 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
• ¼ cup granulated sugar
• 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling:
• 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
• 1½ cups cold eggnog (store-bought or homemade)
• ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
• 1 cup whipped topping (plus more for garnish)

For the Garnish:
• Ground nutmeg or cinnamon for dusting
• Whipped topping or whipped cream
• Crushed graham crackers or white chocolate curls (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Crust
In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter.
Mix until the crumbs are fully moistened and resemble wet sand.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set while you make the filling.

Step 2: Prepare the Eggnog Filling
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold eggnog.
Beat for 2–3 minutes until the mixture begins to thicken.
Add the vanilla extract and ground nutmeg. Stir to combine.
Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping gently with a spatula until the mixture is light and creamy.

Step 3: Fill the Pie Crust
Pour the eggnog filling into the chilled graham cracker crust.
Smooth the top evenly with a spatula.
Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set (overnight is best for a firmer texture).

Step 4: Add Garnishes
Just before serving, spread or pipe additional whipped topping over the top.
Sprinkle lightly with ground nutmeg or cinnamon.
For extra flair, top with crushed graham crackers, white chocolate curls, or a cinnamon stick.

Notes

Use Full-Fat Eggnog – It gives the pie a richer, creamier texture.
Chill Thoroughly – Let the pie set at least 4 hours so it slices cleanly.
Fold Gently – Don’t overmix the whipped topping or the filling can lose its lightness.
Make It Ahead – Perfect for prepping a day or two before a holiday dinner.
Switch Up the Crust – Try gingersnap cookies or vanilla wafers for a fun twist.
