For the Sliders:

  • 12 slider buns or mini biscuits, split
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk or cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 lb smoked beef sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 6 slices cheddar or American cheese, halved
  • 1/4 cup diced green onions (optional)

For the Topping:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Eggs

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
  3. Pour in the egg mixture and cook, stirring gently, until soft and scrambled. Set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Sausage

  1. In the same skillet, sliceand cook the sausage until warmed through. Set aside.

Step 3: Assemble the Sliders

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a baking dish.
  3. Layer with scrambled eggs, sausage, and a slice of cheese. Sprinkle with green onions if desired.
  4. Top with the other half of the buns.

Step 4: Add the Topping

  1. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, maple syrup, and garlic powder. Brush the tops of the sliders generously with the mixture.

Step 5: Bake

  1. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
