Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Meatloaf Mixture

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined.

Step 2: Layer the Meatloaf

  1. Spread half of the meat mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared loaf pan or shape it into a loaf on the baking sheet.
  2. Lay the slices of turkey ham on top of the meat mixture, followed by the shredded or sliced Swiss cheese.
  3. Spread the remaining meat mixture over the ham and cheese, pressing the edges to seal.

Step 3: Bake the Meatloaf

  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  2. If desired, sprinkle extra Parmesan or Swiss cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking for a golden, cheesy crust.
