Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Patties
In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, green onions, soy sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
Step 2: Cook the Patties
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
Step 3: Make the Bang-Bang Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth. Set aside.
Step 4: Toast the Buns
Lightly toast the burger buns in the same skillet or on a grill until golden.
Step 5: Assemble the Burgers
Spread a generous amount of bang-bang sauce on both sides of the toasted buns. Layer with lettuce, a chicken patty, tomato slices, red onion, and pickles (if using). Top with the other half of the bun.
Step 6: Serve and Enjoy!
Serve with extra bang-bang sauce on the side for dipping, and enjoy with fries, chips, or a fresh side salad.
Notes
- Don’t Overmix: Gently combine the ingredients to keep the patties tender.
- Chill Before Cooking: Refrigerate the patties for 15 minutes to help them hold their shape.
