Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced: Use rotisserie chicken or cooked chicken breasts for ease.
- 1/3 cup buffalo sauce: For that spicy, tangy kick.
- 4 large flour tortillas: Soft and pliable for easy wrapping.
- 1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing: For a cool, creamy contrast.
- 1 cup shredded lettuce: Adds crunch and freshness.
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes: Juicy and flavorful.
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese: Melts slightly and ties the flavors together.
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion (optional): For a bit of zing.
- 1/4 cup diced avocado (optional): Adds creaminess and richness.
Instructions
- Prepare the Buffalo Chicken
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken with the buffalo sauce. Toss until evenly coated.
- Warm the Tortillas
- Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 15-20 seconds on each side, or microwave them for 10 seconds to make them more pliable.
- Assemble the Wraps
- Spread a tablespoon of ranch or blue cheese dressing down the center of each tortilla.
- Layer on shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and red onion (if using).
- Top with the buffalo chicken mixture and optional diced avocado.
- Wrap It Up
- Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it up tightly from the bottom.
- Serve and Enjoy
- Slice the wraps in half, if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Make Ahead: Prep the chicken and chop the veggies in advance for an even quicker assembly.
- Adjust the Heat: If you like it spicier, add a few dashes of hot sauce to the buffalo sauce. For less heat, mix the buffalo sauce with a little ranch.
- Use Whole Wheat Tortillas: For a healthier option, swap out the regular tortillas for whole wheat or low-carb versions.
- Grill the Wraps: After assembling, lightly grill the wraps in a skillet for a crispy exterior.
