Description

This hearty breakfast is packed with protein, fiber, and rich flavors, making it a perfect start to your day. The crispy fried bread, juicy turkey sausages, and creamy beans balance perfectly with the earthy mushrooms and perfectly cooked eggs.


Ingredients

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 turkey sausages

  • ½ cup baked beans

  • ½ cup mushrooms (sliced)

  • 2 slices of bread

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 1 tbsp butter (for frying)

  •  

  • Salt & pepper to taste


Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Turkey Sausages

  1. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

  2. Add the turkey sausages and cook for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and cooked through.

Step 2: Sauté the Mushrooms

  1. In the same pan, add another tbsp of olive oil if needed.

  2. Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden and tender. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3: Heat the Baked Beans

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the baked beans over low heat.

  2. Stir occasionally and let them warm up while you cook the rest of the meal.

Step 4: Fry the Bread

  1. In another pan, melt 1 tbsp of butter.

  2. Place the bread slices in the pan and fry for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.

Step 5: Cook the Eggs

  1. In the same pan where you fried the bread, crack the eggs and cook to your preference (fried, scrambled, or poached).

  2. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy!

  1. Plate everything together: sausages, mushrooms, beans, eggs, and crispy fried bread.

  2. Enjoy your delicious, protein-packed breakfast!

  • Crispier Bread: Use day-old bread for better texture.
