  • 2 turkey sausages

  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional): For seasoning the mushrooms.

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Turkey Sausages

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the turkey sausages and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.

Step 2: Cook the Mushrooms

  1. In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika (if using). Sauté for 4-5 minutes until golden and tender. Remove and set aside.

Step 3: Warm the Beans

  1. In a small saucepan, warm the baked beans over low heat, stirring occasionally.

Step 4: Fry the Bread

  1. Add another tablespoon of oil or butter to the skillet.
  2. Place the slices of bread in the pan and fry until golden and crispy on both sides, about 1-2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

Step 5: Cook the Eggs

  1. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook sunny-side up, or to your preferred doneness. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Step 6: Assemble the Breakfast Plate

  1. Arrange the turkey sausages, mushrooms, beans, fried bread, and eggs on a plate. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
