Ingredients

- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup plain yogurt (or sour cream)

- 1 ½ cups apples, peeled and diced (any sweet variety like Honeycrisp or Fuji)

- ½ cup pecans, chopped
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper and grease lightly.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
In another bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs, yogurt, and vanilla extract, stirring until combined.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the diced apples gently. Do not overmix.
In a small bowl, mix chopped pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle the cinnamon pecan crunch topping evenly over the top. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
